Pit Parties
-Saturday February 8: 10:30am-2:00pm
-Sunday February 9: 10:30am-2:00pm

Monster Jam Show
-Saturday February 8: 12:00pm-4:00pm OR 4:30pm-9:00pm
-Sunday February 9: 12:00-4:00pm

WHERE: Rexall Place

Greeter Ticket Sales (4 volunteers): Provide tickets, invite participants, direct the line forward

Poster Creation (3 volunteers): Collect tickets, control materials, explain activity, motivate & assist participants

Bean Bag Toss (5 volunteers): Collect tickets, explain the game, manage the line and game

Prize Counter (4 volunteers): Prize redemption

KHP Booth (2 volunteers): Provide KHP materials, answer basic questions, demonstrate mobile app

Runners (16 volunteers): Hand out ballots to the crowd, motivate kids to hold up their drawings

WHY: It’s for a great great great cause! The Kids Help Phone is such a wonderful organization you guys. This is such an important event for them to help children/youth across Canada who are experiencing bullying. …PLUS you get FREE tickets to the Monster Jam show after your shift

Juliver Tomas completed his final year as a full International Baccalaureate student at McNally High School this year (2014). He was the Editor-in-Chief of the official student publication of his previous school, Dorganda High School, back in the Philippines. However, they used "Filipino" as the main medium of their publication that is why expect grammatical errors or "carabao English" on this blog (He is improving his vocab tho). He was also the Editor-in-chief of the school magazine of McNally High School - the McNally Tiger Magazine. He attended various press conferences and competitions. He won the Journalist of the Year award at their school and was the Valedictorian of his class (Class of 2012). He is looking forward to be a Doctor someday and is planning to take a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Alberta next fall. He is currently a World Vision Ambassador and a part of the Red Cross Youth Leaders (RCYL) in Edmonton. He is really engaged in any activities. He loves Sciences, Journalism and Social Justice/Human Rights. He believes in the saying that "Teamwork Makes The Dreamwork"
